nice script but some folder and files a missing.. like folder account and index.php file, etc, logout folder and files not found …

I setup VidiScript in a subdirectory online, but it does not work…any coding advice, I tried everything that was reported in the forum to no avail.???
Any help would be appreciated.

you’ll have to send me some more information may be error logs.
usually with subdirectories the problem is that we need to know where the script is installed relative to web root.
so if you’ve installed vidiscript at http://server.com/folder1/folder2/ .
During the install phase you’d have had to supply “/folder/folder/” as install directory.
This can be fixed post install by changing the information in “settings” table in the vidiscript database.
Set the value of “sitefolder” field.
vidiscript must be installed directly on root. not a folder or subfolder.
not necessarily , it can be installed almost anywhere in your directory structure as long as you provide the correct path to site root folder during the install or change it in the database after the install.

how to upload matroska via FTP and batch process? to multiple bitrates?
uploaded 800 meg matroska via web interface: choke, page resets, no errors logged in app or in cpanel.
FTP upload preferred as uploading will not be available to the public

Hi,
I’ve installed vidiscript successfully in my server but when trying the default configuration, it complains that it can’t find any of the links (for example: The requested URL /top_rated was not found on this server.)
Am I missing some files or do I have a wrong configuratino in my system?
I have used Automatix breofe, but I like using a shell script that doesn’t use a graphical interface for installing software, that way I can edit it and know what I’m doing. Automatix is great for beginners though.
